About the Meal Plan
As part of your student accommodation package, the Primrose Student Residence program provides a well balanced meal plan with breakfast from 7:00am-10:00am and dinner from 5:30pm-8:30pm available Monday through Friday.
The Breakfast Menu includes a variety of cereals, danish, muffins, croissants, breads, juices, fresh fruit and a daily special which may include one or more of the following items; pancakes, French toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, and bagels with cream cheese to name a few.
Our Dinner Menu items include a soup of the day with rolls, a full Salad & Pasta Bar, Main & Vegetarian Entrees and a dessert station. Main entrées may include roast chicken, lasagna, burgers, fajitas, ginger pork, fish and chips, Sheppard’s pie, nachos, chili, beef stew or penne pasta with chicken. Vegetarian entrees may include, vegetarian lasagna, veggie stir fry, vegetable stew, perogies with sour cream and penne alfredo. All meals are served with potatoes or rice, fresh vegetables and a dessert of the day. Beverages are included with all meals.
Residents will be issued a student meal card that must be shown upon entry to the dining room.
The resident may only enter the dining room once during each meal period. Meals can be eaten in the dining room or if you wish, you may take out your dinner.
A late night meal program is available for pick up after the dining room closes for dinner. Late night meal forms must be filled out at least 24 hours prior to pick up. Students must contact the on-call Don to arrange the late night meal pick up.
In addition, the Primrose Management teams up with students to form the Food committee. The purpose of this committee is to plan and organize monthly cultural theme nights and to provide Management with comments and suggestions about the Meal program to make the meal plan an even better one.
Our goal is to make your residence experience the best it can be by providing good, nutritious food in a relaxed atmosphere.
